Here's to your own remote future π€©
So hello, hello. Future is freelance listeners, and a very happy new year to you. You're probably listening to this during January, but in fact, whenever you're listening, I still think we need to wish each other a happy new year, because January is just the calendar month. We could restart, reset our expectations of intentions whenever we want to. Now I've started 2024 by taking a short break from podcasting and we're going to be coming back in season 5 in February which isn't long now, actually and we're looking forward to making some changes which I wanted to quickly let you know about today. You may have seen already from your artwork and your podcast title that we have rebranded as the remote work Europe podcast. Now, don't worry, because I still believe that the future is freelance. I just believe that it's even more than that and we're going to be exploring some of the stuff adjacent to freelancing. That is already becoming an important part of the podcast agenda, because we live in a far more interconnected, complex, blended world of work and the location independence is surely the most important part of that. So I wanted to more firmly connect the podcast with the remote work Europe community, although we will certainly not be limiting our content to the borders of Europe, because the future is flexible, the future is freelance, the future is blended and the future is truly location independent, and that's what I wish for you for 2024. So please keep us in your favourites, in your subscriptions, whatever it takes in, whatever app you're using to listen to us. Basically, don't touch that dial. We're coming back to you in February as the remote work Europe podcast and we can't wait to see you then.
